Alec Bradley Black Market Esteli Diamond
As the first company to launch a cigar into space, the first to blend a cigar using 10 tobaccos, and even the first to introduce a gordo-szied lancero (if such a thing is possible), Alec Bradley has been known to push boundaries in the realm of premium cigars.
One such example is their diamond-shaped offerings, first debuting in 2014 and since returning in limited quantities over the years. This may seem counterintuitive on its face (isn't a diamond simply a square on its side?), but the diamond-press actually uses two obtuse angles and two acute angles, making for a unique look and feel to set it apart from the pack. This size has now been extended to the Black Market Estelí blend, dubbed Alec Bradley Black Market Estelí Diamond.
Alec Bradley Black Market Estelí Diamond makes use of the same blend that first debuted in 2017, being a Nicaraguan spinoff of the popular Black Market cigar. This includes the use of a Nicaraguan wrapper, a double binder from Nicaragua and Honduras, and all-Nicaraguan fillers. The cigars are rolled by the famed Plasencia family at their factory in Nicaragua, boasting the signature 6¼' x 54 diamond-pressed shape. Expect a medium-full body and rich flavors of charred oak, fiery earth, black pepper, and loads of punchy cocoa.
