El Artista Exactus Maduro
The Exactus line can be traced back to 1956, when family patriarch, Don Pulita, entered into the premium cigar industry. His passion for tobacco has been handed down through generations, now leading to the El Artista brand and factory that cigar fanatics embrace today. Since the cigar's humble beginnings, the blend has been updated by Pulita's grandson, Radhames “Ram” Rodriguez. Exactus cigars by El Artista are rolled at Tabacalera El Artista, the same factory that makes Buffalo TEN and Big Papi cigars, among others.
The Exactus Maduro by El Artista is a rich and flavorful maduro—a bit stronger than its sibling, the Exactus Connecticut. The wrapper is a dark Ecuadorian leaf, surrounding a Dominican Criollo '98 binder, specifically chosen by Ram to be uniquely fermented with Dominican wine. The rest of the fillers are all Dominican. Thanks to the wine-fermented binder and hearty maduro wrapper, you can look for a medium-plus intensity, showing spicy and earthy flavors that can be easily paired with a hearty meal and red wine.
