Espinosa Las 6 Provincias ORT
For the last six years, fans of Espinosa Premium Cigars have come to expect an annual release in the company's ambitious six-part series: Las 6 Provincias. The project kicked off in 2018, aiming to pay tribute to the original six provinces of pre-Castro Cuba (where the Espinosa family traces their lineage).
Each release has featured the abbreviated code for the given region, including the LHB (2018), MTZ (2019), LV (2021), CMW (2022), ZDT (2023), and now... ORT for 2024. Officially dubbed Espinosa Las 6 Provincias ORT, the cigars pay tribute to Cuba's easternmost region: Oriente. As with previous releases in the series, the cigars were crafted out of the San Lotano Factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua, being rolled in a single 6" x 56 box-pressed format. This includes a unique hybrid Habano wrapper on the blend, which surrounds an all-Nicaraguan binder/filler recipe.
As fans have come to expect, Erik Espinosa, Jr. showcases yet another extravagant packaging arrangement for the Las 6 Provincias ORT. The cigars are displayed vertically in a two-tier layout, all contained within a custom-painted flip-top box... if ever there were one for the cigar collector's display, this is it! Of course, the packaging is only the intro to the experience itself, and the ORT does not disappoint, offering up a medium-plus body and a flavor-forward experience of cedar, toasted nuts, light cabinet spices, and sweet Cuban espresso through the finish.
