Traditionally known for an old-school persona and classic, Habano-driven flavor profiles, Gran Habano's S.T.K. series (aka Stay True Kid) takes the brand in a more contemporary direction. This collection has included fan favorites such as G.A.R., Zulu Zulu, and American Puro, though the S.T.K. Black Dahlia has perhaps become the leader of the pack since its 2017 debut. The Gran Habano Black Dahlia takes its name from the dark and mysteriously attractive flower of the same name, showing off an attractive band to match the mood. In terms of tobacco makeup, the cigar is among the most diverse from Gran Habano. This begins with a shade-grown Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper and continues with a double binder (Nicaraguan Habano) and fillers of Nicaragua, Colombia, and Costa Rica. The blend is well constructed and dependable in performance, bringing out a more bright, floral, and creamy experience than previous releases in the S.T.K series.
