When Mike Bellody, a successful investor, set out to craft a premium cigar brand worthy of the distinguished enthusiast, he enlisted the help of the industry's top blenders, tobaccos, and factories—ensuring every cigar to be of the highest quality. With these standards in place, Mike introduced MLB Cigar Ventures in 2013. The first product introduced by MLB was dubbed Imperia by Mike Bellody. For this special blend, MLB teamed with famed Master Blender Manuel Quesada (a Cigar Aficionado Hall of Fame member) and his Quesada Cigars factory in the Dominican Republic. As Manuel is known for crafting old-school profiles with Dominican origins, Imperia is crafted from primarily Dominican tobaccos, with a touch of Nicaraguan leaf in the filler blend. Imperia showcases a medium body and strength, with a focus on rich and classic flavors. Expect nuances of black pepper, cedar wood, leather, pour-over coffee, and a long creaminess on the finish.
