Joya de Nicaragua Cuatro Cinco TAA Exclusive
Joya de Nicaragua joins the fan-favorite TAA Exclusive Series for 2021! For roughly the past decade, the premium cigar industry's top manufacturers have come together, partnering with the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) to introduce rare offshoot blends, limited sizes, and/or completely custom projects. These cigars are offered exclusively to the 80-some-odd tobacconists that are members of the TAA, in turn providing a unique experience for their customers.
New for 2021 is the Joya de Nicaragua Cuatro Cinco Edición Americana TAA Exclusive, showcasing an exceptional 6″ x 54 belicoso format in the Cuatro Cinco line for the first time. Joya's Cuatro Cinco brand first debuted in 2013 as a limited-edition cigar, made to commemorate Joya's milestone 45th anniversary (hence the cigar's name). The cigars returned in 2015 as a regular release, this time tweaking the blend slightly from the acclaimed original. But with Joya's Cuatro Cinco Edición Americana TAA Exclusive, the company describes the blend as performing most similarly to the beloved 2013 original release.
Joya de Nicaragua Cuatro Cinco Edición Americana TAA Exclusive is limited to 500 boxes of 10 cigars, each numbered on a plaque that is displayed on the boxes' lids. The cigars make use of a dark Nicaraguan Criollo wrapper and Grade-A fillers, being finished in white oak barrels formerly containing rum for a minimum of one year. The result is a full-bodied smoke and rich flavors of earth, charred oak, leather, and sweet molasses.
