Kristoff Nicaragua
Long known as one of the pioneering brands associated with the boutique-minded Tabacalera von Eicken (formerly Charles Fairmorn) factory in the Dominican Republic, Kristoff Cigars has typically focused on Dominican tobaccos throughout their growing portfolio over the years.
However, this (somewhat) changed in 2023 with the introduction of the Kristoff Nicaragua, offering the Nicaraguan cigar junkie a fiery puro to sink their teeth into. We say Kristoff's Dominican trend only somewhat changed, as the cigars maintain their Dominican origins, still coming out of the trusty Tabacalera von Eicken factory that Kristoff has practically become synonymous with over the years.
Dominican or no, the Kristoff Nicaragua features all-Nicaraguan leaves throughout the blend, including fillers from the Condega, Estelí, and Jalapa growing regions, a Corojo-seed binder, and a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper. The end result is a quality smoking experience that should feel right at home with long-time fans of the brand, while offering a spicier profile for a nice change of pace. The Kristoff Nicaragua cigar is medium-plus in strength, featuring notes of cedar, zesty cabinet spice, rye bread, and touches of cinnamon sweetness.
