La Sirena LT
La Sirena Cigars is owned by the Ditkowich family, most prominently including Danny Ditkowich and his daughter Arielle, who not only inspired the brand's mermaid theme, but is also the face of La Sirena. Operating on the boutique side of the industry, the majority of La Sirena's cigars are fuller in flavor and body, with the portfolio being rolled by many of the most desired manufacturers throughout Central America, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic.
This doesn't mean that the company lacks a taste for nuance, however, offering the La Sirena LT cigar in the lighter-wrapped Connecticut ballpark. Indeed, the La Sirena LT is rolled by the famed Plasencia family at their Honduran-based El Paraiso factory. The Plasencias combine a diverse recipe to bring the La Sirena LT to life, showcasing Dominican, Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos throughout the filler. This solid core is bound in a Nicaraguan Habano leaf and finalized with a bonze-hued Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. The end result is fuller in intensity than your conventional Connecticut, bringing a thick smoking texture and highlight flavors of clean cedar, browned butter, salted nuts, and thick vanilla cream through the finish.
