León Jimenes
La Aurora Cigars created the León Jimenes to honor two men that had a lasting impact on the company. Eduardo León Jimenes founded the company back in 1903, and his brother, Herminio León Jimenes, kept things moving in the right direction after Eduardo died in 1937. Their legacy carries on with the León Jimenes cigar.
The Leon Jimenes Connecticut was first introduced back in 1987 and the blend has gone largely unchanged. It features a silky Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over a binder from the Cibao Valley of the Dominican Republic; filler tobaccos come from the Cibao Valley and Nicaragua.
The León Jimenes brand returned to the market in 2021 after a brief hiatus and we’re thrilled it has returned. This Connecticut-wrapped beauty offers an elegant smoking experience with a creamy texture. You can expect a mild-medium body with smooth notes of cedar, cocoa, and cashews.
