Micallef Migdalia
As a third-generation tobacco family, beginning with Pedro F. Gómez in Cuba circa 1934, the Sanchez family is among the most experienced cigarmakers throughout the world. And while each generation proclaims their own unique achievements within the premium cigar industry, it is perhaps the second generation that is most decorated.
Allow us to introduce you to Migdalia Sanchez, daughter-in-law of Mr. Pedro F. Gómez and the inspiration behind the Micallef Migdalia cigar. Migdalia began her tobacco career in Cuba at the age of 16, later becoming known as one of the country's most skilled torcedores. Now working with Micallef Cigars and the family's factories of Mexico and Nicaragua, her talents are recognized with the Micallef Migdalia cigar.
Micallef Migdalia is medium-full in body and brimming with flavor, making use of a San Andrés Habano wrapper, Sumatran binder, and fillers of Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. Not surprisingly, the Micallef Migdalia has become a favorite choice for the discerning enthusiast, noted for offering complexities of toasted hardwoods, nutmeg, custard-like cream, and sweet caramel.
