My Father Cigars' release for the 2023 Exclusive Series from the Tobacconists' Association of America (TAA) breaks the norms of the collection. Instead of showcasing a one-off size of a pre-existing line or even a singular size of something new, the company offers a full suite of three sizes in a commemorative project dubbed Don Pepin – Vintage Edition.
My Father's Don Pepin – Vintage Edition cigar has been made to celebrate 20 years of Don Pepin cigars, going back to García's earliest releases to find inspiration for the band design. Setting out to pay tribute to such a celebrated brand, the family has selected a Nicaraguan puro blend from their acclaimed fields throughout the country. This includes the use of a Nicaraguan Corojo '99 wrapper over binder and fillers from Nicaragua.
My Father Don Pepin – Vintage Edition debuts in robusto, toro, and toro gordo sizes, offering a classic profile that will be familiar yet new for fans of the Don Pepin brand. With a medium overall intensity, the Don Pepin – Vintage Edition offers classic flavors with a touch of spice, including notes of cedar, toasted bread, cabinet spices, and candied nut sweetness.
