The Perdomo Estate Selección Vintage Limited Edition Box-Pressed (Perdomo ESV for short) sits atop the renowned Perdomo Cigars pedestal as the company's most luxurious smoking experience. This is due to a high level of specificity throughout every portion of the cigarmaking process—from seed to ash. For starters, ESV cigars consist of all-Nicaraguan tobaccos chosen solely from the Perdomo family's top-tier tobacco farm, Finca Natalie, which is located in the crater of an extinct volcano crater in Estelí, Nicaragua. Only the top five percent of tobaccos from this farm will make the cut for Perdomo ESV, all of which (except for a portion of the Connecticut version) are grown from authentic Cuban seeds. The finishing touches include a soft box-press (allowing for better marrying of the tobaccos contained) and a second fermentation stage for the wrapper leaves, which are placed in spent bourbon barrels before being wrapped around the final product. These factors combine to make for a dependable and deeply satisfying smoking experience, with the Perdomo ESV Connecticut, Sun Grown, and Maduro each bringing unique characteristics to the seasoned palate.
