Of all the occasions one might go out of their way to secure a box of premium cigars for a loved one, Father's Day takes the cake. That's right, dads and stogies go together like... dads and dad jokes (was that an inception-level dad joke?). In recent years, Punch has taken it upon themselves to craft the perfect dad-worthy smokes, releasing the Punch Dad Bod in 2023 and the followup Punch Dad’s Home Movies cigar for 2024. This unique project is a throwback to the analogue world of Dad's nostalgic youth, with the cigars arriving in packaging made to resemble an old-school VHS tape with sleeve—straight out of the glory days of the '80s! Sliding out the Punch Dad’s Home Movies interior reveals 10 limited-edition cigars, which just so happen to be a more rewarding experience than watching those old home movies... Sized at a classic 6" x 50 toro, the Home Movies cigars feature an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Nicaraguan Condega binder, and a Nicaraguan filler blend from the Condega, Estelí, and Ometepe growing regions. This makes for a medium-plus intensity with a focus on balanced flavor output. Expect an old-school experience with an edge, hitting notes of cabinet spice, cedar, toasted nuts, and touches of leather and cream through the finish.
