Red Meat Lovers by Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust
Originally created as a collaboration between Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust, The Red Meat Lovers Club, and Smoke Inn Cigars (debuting as the 12th cigar in our MicroBlend Series), the Red Meat Lovers Club cigar has now spread its wings and headed out for a full-time release!
The cigars are named after the South Florida-based club of the same name, which hosts meat-ups focused on fellowship and high-quality steak, spirits, and cigars. Partnering with Steve Saka of Dunbarton Tobacco, the Red Meat Lovers Club cigar was born! It's no secret that Saka fancies himself a red meat lover, and he set about crafting the perfect cigar to pair with a hearty, savory, indulgent steak feast.
Working out of the NACSA factory in Nicaragua (the same factory that rolls Mi Querida cigars), Saka selected a bold Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper; this leaf surrounds a Mexican San Andrés negro binder and fillers from Nicaragua and Pennsylvania. This is a dense concoction of tobacco, resulting in a full-bodied smoking experience that perfectly compliments the slow-cooked meal at hand. Expect notes of mineral-rich earth, black pepper, toasted oak, umami, and touches of cinnamon. Now offered on a regular basis, cigar enthusiasts can stock up on the Red Meat Lovers Club in a wide range of sizes to match the pairing at hand.
