This eye-catching addition to the line is rolled at parent company, Altadis USA's, Tabacalera de García factory in the Dominican Republic, known to be among the largest premium cigar factories in the world. The blend is based on the original Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real cigar, including a Nicaraguan binder and fillers of Nicaragua and the DR. But the wrapper sets the Twisted apart, making use of both Ecuadorian Habano and Ecuadorian Connecticut leaves, intertwining with stark contrast. This tobacco concoction makes for a body just a tick under medium, with a classic flavor profile that shifts between notes of earth and pepper to that of rain-soaked hardwoods, barnyard hay, and a touch of sweetness through the finish.
