Sharon and Robert Holt, owners of Southern Draw Cigars, have long created cigars to pay tribute to people in their lives and those that supported them on their journey in the cigar business. Robert decided to create the Southern Draw Rose of Sharon for his wife. Southern Draw names all of their cigars with three things in mind: faith, family, and flowers. With Rose of Sharon, the phrase is mentioned in the Song of Solomon in the Old Testament; it is also a type of hibiscus flower. The Southern Draw Rose of Sharon is the mildest offering in the Southern Draw portfolio to date. Rose of Sharon features an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, with a Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. It has a creamy profile, showing some sweetness and notes of white pepper, honey, black tea, and vanilla. Rose of Sharon is a delicate cigar with a lighter body, focusing its efforts on refined flavors throughout.
